To get here by bicycle:
Some people think Paddington is too hilly to ride but, if you follow the ridges, it's a pleasant ride for even the most occasional rider.
Coronation Drive (Bicentennial) bike path: Come off the bike path at the Park Road exit - we are approximately 2 to 3 km away. Continue west to cross Milton Rd and follow Baroona Rd to the 5-ways intersection. (Just ride on the footpath if you find the road too busy - it is legal to do so). Head up Fernberg Rd at the 5-ways (it is only a bit of a climb) then turn right at the crest of hill onto Given Tce. Given Tce intersects with Lower Latrobe at the lights.
Normanby 5-ways bikepath / Roma St Parklands bikepath / City: If you are riding from this direction, it is a gradual climb, with some flat spots with easy peddling, from Caxton St and along Given Tce to Latrobe Tce - about 2km all up. Just click into an easy gear and cruise along. Ride on the footpath if you are worried about some of the traffic squeeze points.
